Ministry Background

In July 2011, we were delighted to have the opportunity to take on the tenancy of the disused former Grade 2 listed Hollymoor Hospital Chapel. We quickly re-established the chapel as a place of worship putting in place new worship and marriage licenses.

The chapel is the present-day home of Eternal Life Church Ministries and all three elements of the ministry work we undertake;

Hollymoor Community Church

The body of believers who gather to worship at the chapel, the heart of our community

Eternal Media
Broadcasting to the nation the message of God’s love for all mankind from the heart of our nation.

Life Line
Practical charitable demonstration of God’s love

We have made several improvements to the Chapel. We are delighted to announce that funding was secured to complete the refurbishment of two rooms in the Chapel to be used for children’s ministry. This development compliments our emerging efforts in developing our Children and Families work.

Improvements were also made to the kitchen and reception area of the Chapel making it a more functional and comfortable area.

Further improvements to the building are planned in 2019/20 as necessary approvals, and funding becomes available this work will be completed. This includes; refurbishing the old vestry and studio, repainting the inside of the building and repairing the main window at the front of the building. These ongoing developments are helping ELCM to establish the necessary physical infrastructure in needs to be able to fulfill its long-term vision.

The Chapel now provides excellent ‘theater style’ venue, seating up to 230 people. Our media and sound technology are state of the art as you might expect to meet our broadcasting assignment.
